Leave both Valet2Door bins at the apartment and we'll collect them. If they leave with you, we charge a flat KES 3,000 replacement fee for both bins to the card on your plan, or send you an M-Pesa prompt from Valet2Door.

Good to know
How do I know who's coming, and when?
Your booking SMS has a private tracking link. From the evening before, it shows your pro's name, photo and rating. We text you when they set off and when they arrive, and the page shows each step. When they finish, the before-and-after photos appear on the same page. No app needed.
Can I cancel or move a booking?
Yes, from your tracking link. It's free up to 40 minutes before your window starts. After that, or once your pro is on the way, cancelling costs KES 300 and we refund the rest.
What if I'm not happy with the job?
Tell us on your tracking page within 24 hours and we come back and fix it free within 48 hours. If we can't put it right, we refund you. Trash Valet: report a missed collection or bin wash within 2 days for a free redo.
Do you work on weekends and public holidays?
Yes. You can book cleaning, nannies, pet care, grooming, parties and more any day of the week, including Sundays, whenever one of our pros is free. Trash Valet collections run Monday to Saturday. On public holidays we work as normal unless we text you at least 48 hours before.
What do weekly and monthly cleans cost?
You choose the days, how many times a week (up to 3), how many hours and how many cleaners. It's KES 1,000 per cleaner-hour, less 15% for weekly, 10% every two weeks and 5% every four weeks, and a little less again if you have your own products. Paid four weeks at a time, with the same pro wherever possible. Stop any time.
How fast can a pro get to me?
Each service shows "Valet2Door Pro arriving in N minutes" when one of our pros is free near you today. Choose "Now" and we send the nearest free pro: the time allows 15 minutes for them to accept and set off, plus travel. Instant arrival costs KES 200 extra (free for Home Care and Full Valet members on their cleans). If nobody can reach you within 2 hours, we show the next free window instead.

What if my pro doesn't turn up?
It's on us. We book your visit again at a time that suits you, free, and add KES 500 credit to use on any booking within 6 months. Call or WhatsApp 0723 604 322 as soon as you notice, or report it on your tracking page.

Every booking SMS has it. Lost the text? Use "Text me my links" in the Talk to us section at the bottom of this page and we'll send it again, to the phone number you booked with.

Can someone do laundry or cleaning in my home?
Yes: book Home help under Nanny & home help (or Laundry, then At my home). Tick what you need: laundry (by hand or in your washing machine), ironing and folding, cleaning and tidying, cooking or errands. From KES 1,100 for 2 hours, using your own products. For a thorough clean with our products and equipment, book a Quick or Standard clean instead. If there are children to look after, choose Nanny: nannies are fully background-checked and can do the same jobs around the home.
Can I keep the mama fua I already use?
Yes. Tell us about her under Cleaning (Already have a mama fua you trust?). We call her within 2 working days, vet her like every pro, and once she joins, your cleans go to her first. She's paid on time by M-Pesa, and you get photos, tracking, a stand-in when she's off, and our free redo.
What's the cheapest way to start?
For trash, Doorstep Lite: KES 990 a month for bags taken from your door on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. For cleaning, the Quick Clean: one cleaner for 2 hours for KES 1,300 (KES 1,200 with your own products), any size of home. Once 10 homes in your building are on Trash Valet, Doorstep drops to KES 1,500 a month.
Can I book the same pro again?
Yes. After a job, your booking page and the "all done" text both have a "Book them again" link. It shows only the times your pro is free. If they're busy, you can let any vetted pro come instead. Regular cleans and monthly nannies keep the same person every visit wherever possible.
How does Pet Care work?
Choose a 30-minute or 1-hour dog walk, pet sitting at home (30 minutes to half a day), daily walks for a month, or grooming at home for dogs and cats. Up to 5 pets per booking; for more, call 0723 604 322. Your walker uses your lead and never lets dogs off it, and you get a photo after every visit.
What does a nanny do, and how are they vetted?
Childcare, cooking, housekeeping, laundry and errands. Nannies aren't nurses, so they don't give medical care to elderly relatives or patients. Every nanny passes guaranteed third-party risk background checks covering identity, health, litigation, credit and fraud, and you see their photo and rating before they arrive. Pay upfront by the hour, or monthly (full or half days) for the same nanny Monday to Saturday. The base rate covers cooking, housekeeping and errands; children add KES 75 an hour each, and babies under 2 KES 125, because childcare is more work. Half of that goes to your nanny.
How does laundry and dry cleaning work?
Choose wash and dry (folded, KES 2,400 a bag) or wash, dry and iron (KES 3,200 a bag), and add suits for dry cleaning. Then call or WhatsApp us any time before 6 PM and your rider collects from your door. Everything travels in our Smart Valet2Door Bags, which are water resistant and clearly labelled. Your first bags are free. Laundry is back within 24 hours; suits within 48.
Do you take curtains down?
No. We steam-clean them where they hang, from scaffolding, with high-temperature, low-moisture extractors. They're dry in about 20 minutes and you never have to rehang anything.
What is Reset to Zero?
Our after-party clean. Commercial ozone generators remove cigar, alcohol and food odours, every wine glass is polished streak-free and put back in the cabinet, and all the rubbish leaves with us. The rooms stay empty of people, pets and plants for about 2 hours during the ozone treatment.
What if I miss the 8 PM window?
Anything outside your door by 8 PM goes at 9 PM. Bags put out later wait for the next collection night, so keep them inside until then.
How do M-Pesa payments renew?
Each billing date we send an M-Pesa prompt to your phone. Approve it with your PIN. Card plans renew automatically.
Our story
It started with the bin room
Apartment living in Nairobi comes with a familiar chore: carrying the day's rubbish down the stairs, past a lift that's out again, to a bin room nobody wants to visit. We thought there had to be a better way.
So we started knocking on doors in Kilimani with a door hanger, two bins and a simple deal. Put your bags out between 7 and 8 PM, and our valet takes them at 9. Every night except Sunday, without fail. Recyclables are sorted and sent to licensed recyclers instead of the dumpsite.
Then our customers started asking for more. Could we clean? Take the laundry? Cook dinner on busy days? Sort out the sofa after the dog? Today Valet2Door is one trusted, tech-enabled team for the whole home, across thirteen Nairobi neighbourhoods.
